At Stampd, we believe your travel data belongs to you. All location processing, coordinate resolution, and photo scanning happen entirely on your device. We never upload your personal photos or exact GPS coordinates to our servers.
When you grant permission to access your Photo Library, Stampd reads the metadata (EXIF data) embedded in your images to determine the geographic coordinates of where the photo was taken. This is used solely to "unlock" country and city stamps in your digital passport.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels. Your movement patterns and travel history are kept private and are not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other external entities.
Your unlocked stamps and profile settings are stored in a secure local database on your iPhone. If you choose to use the "Delete Account" feature, this database is immediately and permanently wiped from your device's storage. There are no "cloud backups" that persist after you delete your local data.
We utilize standard iOS security protocols to protect the data stored on your device. However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device through passcodes or biometric authentication.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
